I started my fitness journey seriously and consistenly in 2014 when I decided it was time to learn how to lift weights. I grew up an athlete participating in basketball and soccer. I joined a gym my sophomore year of high school and started out only doing cardio. I was very intimidated and didn't really know what else to do. I was motivated to learn more and jump out of my comfort zone. Once I started lifting weights I fell in love with the gym and achieving my goals. My body was changing and I could not believe it! When I started my journey, like many other people, I thought eating healthy was only eating your typical chicken, rice, and veggies. Then I found flexible dieting! I learned how to eat mindfully and not look at food as good or bad. I began tracking my macros or as most people refer to as tracking calories. I love donuts and I most definitely did not want to give up the food I love. I learned how to continue to eat the foods I loved, in moderation, and still achieve my goals. Implementing Flexible dieting and lifting weights shortly became my passion. Teaching others how to sustain a healthy lifestyle for the long run is a passion of mine.
